Shark Valley, Everglades National Park, Florida

As pretty as the cattail is, it is not native to the area. The native saw grass that inhabits the area is being overrun by the introduced cattail. Unfortunately the animals rely on the saw grass but poor water conditions and the cattail are posing a problem for its sustainability.
