Camp Life

Well at 7:48am today my handsome little man turns 7 years old. I can’t believe that my “baby” is so big. Something tells me that I’ll still be thinking the same thing in about 20 years 🙂 He had a great “Birthday Celebration Day” the other day and now he has another day of celebration today. He is very excited!! Hubby and I work today, but that’s proving to be pretty fun for the kiddos. Luckily we have a split schedule today, so it looks like Ryder will get to wake up with  Dad and then they are headed down to have bday cinnamon rolls in the cafe. It’s getting quite busy here, we have a good amount of people in the park now. And even more coming today. Hubby and I sat outside last night and watched the full moon rise above the trees all while the kids played at the playground with friends. It was just about dark and Ryder decided it was time to head home, it made me think of when we were kids and nature ruled our playtime. I couldn’t help but think that’s exactly what “someone” had intended 🙂 The cafe went great yesterday, I cooked and served and chatted. I was reminded of how much I love RV people. Serving was the highlight of Olivia’s day, she’s a natural, and the tips she received were a nice reflection of that!! It’s about 10 to 6am now, and I am off to another busy day. I’m excited to try my hand at breakfast.
